According to data from the Forward Industry Research Institute, the EV industry includes a broad range of players.

In the upstream sector, we have raw material suppliers like Ganfeng Lithium and Huayou Cobalt, and core component makers such as CATL and Da Yang Electric

The midstream includes EV manufacturers like BYD and SAIC Motor, along with international brands like Tesla and BMW.

On the downstream side, companies like State Grid and SAIC-GM are handling charging infrastructure and aftermarket services. Thanks to ongoing technological advancements, electric vehicles now offer better performance, longer ranges, and improved user experiences.

But even with these advancements, the renewable energy sector still faces challenges. Despite significant progress, renewables need to improve in areas like cost, efficiency, and stability compared to traditional energy sources.

For example, solar and wind energy production can be affected by weather conditions, and EV range and charging convenience continue to be major concerns for consumers. So, it’s essential for renewable energy companies to keep pushing for innovation, investing in research and development to lower costs, and enhance both efficiency and stability.
